REIKI is a Japanese word which means Universal Life Energy, an Invisible subtle energy which is all around us.

During the last century Rieki was rediscovered By Dr. Mikao Usui who lived in Japan. Today Reiki is taught by Reiki masters who have been trained in traditions passed down from master to student.

REIKI is an ancient form of hands on healing, positive energy is channelled t
hrough the therapist’s hands to the recipient to promote the body’s natural healing process. Reiki works on many levels; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual, therefore dealing with the cause of the problem.

The body knows how to maintain balance, unless disease or blockages throw it off.
Everything should be done to bring it back into balance, to restore the body’s own healing ability.

REIKI sessions treat the whole body working at removing toxins blockages and negative energy.

REIKI balances and enhances energy and health throughout the body. The more energy flows, the healthier we are; illness is caused by imbalance of energy or blockages in the flow of energy.

REIKI Treatment is very relaxing and none intrusive, the recipient remains fully clothed during treatment, which is done lying down or sitting. The therapist’s hands rest gently on or above the body no pressure is applied; the recipient may feel a heat, cold or a slight tingling sensation.
