LOCATION
Shambala Holistic Retreat is situated 2 km from the medieval village of San Ginesio. We are based within 15 minutes of Gualdo, Calderola, Sant'Angelo in Pontano, and the town of Sarnano. The Sibillini National Park is only half an hour away. Offering a haven for relaxation in a hill top setting, the Shambala Retreat has its own fruit trees and vegetables which are grown organically. We also have our own chickens for fresh eggs. Together with quiet sitting areas in the gardens, we aim to leave you feeling at peace and harmony with nature. We are situated 62 miles (100Km) away from Ancona Airport and 40 minutes drive from the coast. Located just 30 minutes from us, surrounded by trees and mountains is Lake Fiastra which has clean water and a small beach, perfect for swimming! There are ski schools for beginners. Ski lifts and runs are available to suit all levels of skiers. Further information on skiing in this area Summer July and August see many 'Festas' and historical reconstructions.
